Nokia Asha 501



Stephen Elop took up the stage at our very own capital Delhi and launched the New Nokia Asha 501.This smartphone comes under the budget smartphone(under 5K) devices and will be available with single and dual sim capabilities.


The initial impression of this phone reminds us of the Lumia family,and this thing gives it a premium look.This phone comes with a 3" display with a resolution of  240x320  giving a 133ppi.The volume rockers and power key takes their position on the sides and there's only a single back button on the front.The hold the 3.5mm audiojack,charging port and a microUSB port.The back sports a 3.2MP camera and speaker grill at bottom.

Asha 501 is powered by a 1200mAH battery and also it supports dual micro sim. The phone comes with 4GB microsd card along with it and it can be expanded upto 32GB.

Asha 501 feels quite good in hand and it runs on the New Asha software platform version 1.0.Asha 501 debuts this software.This UI is faster than other Asha phones and comes with 64MB of ram and 128MB of intenal storage.This Asha comes with new feature 'FastLane' this keeps a record of most used apps and you can directly jump to your most used apps by just swiping right your homscreen.


Asha 501 comes with connectivity options of Bluetooth,WiFi,GPRS,and USB.It comes with bright colour options-Bright Red,Cyan,Yellow,Bright Green,White and Black.And is available in Indian Market for about Rs.5000*.
