Rumoured HTC One Max spotted again in multiple leaked images

More images of HTC's rumoured One Max phablet, expected to sport a 5.9-inch display, have popped up on the web. The new leaked images comes courtesy Eprice, which has posted images of the alleged HTC One Max that reveal the upcoming device will likely come with a removable back panel, unlike the original One, which sports a unibody design. However, the battery compartment is still non-removable, as seen in the new leaked images.
Some of the leaked images show the alleged One Max compared with the HTC One, while an image shows the rumoured phablet from HTC sitting alongside the Galaxy Note 3.

Additionally, the HTC One Max has also been spotted at Android Central's forum post which has published images of Verizon-bound HTC One Max. The leaked images show a Verizon logo branding on the front panel of the alleged HTC One Max.

There is nothing new that these leaked images reveal, only further confirming that the HTC One Max will be indeed coming with a fingerprint scanner at the back. Recently, some reports suggested that HTC One Max would be unveiled on October 17.

Rumoured specifications of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean-based HTC One Max include a 5.9-inch Super LCD full-HD (1080x1920) display, 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, Ultra Pixel camera, and a fingerprint scanner.

The fingerprint scanner feature, if true, could be HTC One Max's USP and could be used for authentication to unlock the phone, or for mobile payment authorisations. Meanwhile, Apple has already unveiled the iPhone 5s with a built-in fingerprint scanner called Touch ID.
