Spice Smart Flo Edge with Android 2.3 launched at Rs. 3,299




Spice has launched its latest budget Android smartphone for the Indian market, the Smart Flo Edge, at Rs. 3,299. The Spice Smart Flo Edge was listed at an online retailer earlier on Tuesday for Rs. 3,099.
The Spice Smart Flo Edge (Mi-349) features a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display with 320x480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz processor (unspecified chipset) and comes with 256MB of RAM. The Smart Flo Edge is also a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support. Sadly, the smartphone runs the dated Android 2.3 Gingerbread version. It sports a 1.3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, apart from a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone packs a 1500mAh battery which can deliver up to 6 hours of talktime and up to 120 hours of standby time. It also includes 512MB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. Connectivity options on the Spice Smart Flo Edge include EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB.

Another budget Android smartphone from Spice, the Smart Flo Ivory 2 (Mi-423) was also listed at an online retailer for Rs. 4,099, however, is yet to be officially launched.
