Xolo A600 with 4.5-inch qHD display, Android 4.2 launched at Rs. 8,199


Xolo has launched a new A-series smartphone in India, the A600 at Rs. 8,199. The smartphone was listed on Xolo's official site without any pricing in October.
The Xolo A600 features a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960) IPS display and a pixel density of 245ppi. The smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6572W processor with a Mali 400 GPU, coupled with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality.

The Xolo A600 sports 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and also houses a VGA front-facing camera. It includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The A600 packs a 1900mAh battery which according to the listing can deliver up to 22 hours of talktime and 650 hours of standby time.

The new Xolo smartphone expands the company's A smartphone series which already includes phones such as Xolo A1000, Xolo A500, Xolo A500L, Xolo A500S, and Xolo A700.

Recently, Xolo launched Q900 at Rs. 12,999. It features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) TFT display which boasts a pixel density of 312ppi. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality. It sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with BSI sensor and also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Xolo Q900 continues the Q-range tradition and is equipped with a quad-core 1.2GHz MediaTek 6589 processor with a 286MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The smartphone sports 1GB of RAM, and includes 4GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
